Do you love to use Anchor Charts in your classrooms?  We do!  We love them so much though, that we were having a problem storing them.  Our schools provide us with large rolling drawers.  When we’re done with the chart, they go into the drawer.  That part is simple, what I couldn’t figure out was how to get them to stop sticking to each other.  That was great when they were on the wall, not so great when they were in the drawer.

Anchor Chart Storage Solution

Enter… Freezer Paper!

Here’s the solution:  Cut the freezer paper in 2″ strips and it will stick to your the sticky part of your anchor charts.  This is perfect when they are stacked on top of each other.  This is just a simple solution, but it helps us keep sane.

This simple solution is brought to you by the grocery store.  That’s right, you can find it easily at the store.

Anchor Charts

Keep some extra strips handy in the drawer, so you’re always ready to store anchor charts.
