I just love Homemade Christmas Ornaments….  My kids do too!  This is one of those things that makes me a Happy Mom.  Before the holidays, my kitchen turns into a complete creation station.  We have Elf-on-the-Shelf things to prepare, cookies to make, and gingerbread houses to decorate.

Do we have a perfect Christmas?  Of course not, Christmas doesn’t have to be perfect to be good.

But Homemade Christmas Ornaments are by far my favorite Christmas tradition!  Every year when I open our ornaments, the handmade ones bring back the most memories.  In fact, it seems like they are the first to be snatched up and placed on the tree.  From the simple cinnamon ornaments to the more elaborate “I Spy”, we have memories attached to each one.

Ornaments are also the perfect gift for someone who has the love language of gifts.

DIY Snow Globe Ornaments

DIY Inspired have a genius tip to use a funnel and chopsticks to get everything situated in the glass ornaments.  I’d also recommend Epsom Salt (inexpensive) and German Glass Glitter (gorgeous, but sharp) to add a fun sparkle to your ornaments.  Even regular glitter, is fabulous in an ornament and stays contained.  We tried it here with our sand art ornaments.

That’s always my goal with glitter… keep it contained!
